Biography / CVBorn in 1966 in Armenia.Sculptor, painter, stage designer and performer. He sculpts in stone, steel and ceramics. He arrived to Poland in 1993 from Armenia, where he graduated from an Academy of Fine Arts majoring in monumental sculpture. Since then he has shown his works on individual exhibitions in Poland in Jelenia Góra, Wrocław, Zamość, Poznań, Warsaw, and his works can be found in private collections in Germany, Holland, Denmark, Russia and USA. He is an author of many monumental projects such as a ceramic bas-relief entitled „WAZE Artistic Vision of United Europe” or a steel „Monumental Bed” in Karkonosze Mountains. He moved his art out to the streets by participating in elaboration and execution of numerous artistic actions together with Pławna 9 and Dolls Clinic theaters. Vahan met the band Sweet Noise during preparation for Przystanek Woodstock Festival 2001 and got closer to the band when working on a „Don't Shoot at Poets” spectacle for Malta Theater Festival. Another project done together was a monumental stage design and artistic arrangement of the band show on Przystanek Woodstock Festival 2002, followed by designing of a graphic symbol REVOLTA and then a visual execution and a stage design for „White Shock” concert on Przystanek Woodstock Festival 2003. Since then he's been dealing with artistic concepts and visual elaboration connected to band's video clips, numerous concert happenings and many other promotional activities. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
